Branch Manager
Branch Managers have a demanding and extremely rewarding role.
Responsibilities include:
- To achieve and beat sales, margin, inventory and cash collection targets.
- To develop the branch customer base, analysing trends and opportunities in the marketplace and monitoring the activities of competitors.
- To lead, motivate, train and coach the branch team so that they provide the highest possible levels of customer service and performance.
- To ensure compliance with statutory legislation (e.g. health and safety regulations), company and branch procedures, appropriate Operational Standards, and authority limits.
Many of our Branch Managers have worked their way through the business. They have developed their technical knowledge and management skills through experience coupled with targeted learning.
Other Branch Managers have come from diverse backgrounds such as retail, engineering, distribution to the professional trades and the armed forces.
