Sales people are a key contact with customers - their work in building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers is vital to the success of our business.

Rexel Sales Academy is a tailor-made programme. We recruit both internal and external people into the Academy. You will follow a structured programme for 6 months, during which you’ll learn our business, the products and services we market, plus our sales approach to customers. There is a mix of on-the-job, product and technique training, with mentoring from a senior manager. There will be regular support and reviews along the way and you will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and tools that you need to do the job. On graduation you’ll become a Sales Representative.

Building relationships with key decision makers in new, reactivated and existing accounts, the goal is to maximise sales and margin. You’ll be based at a branch but you’ll spend most of your time out and about meeting customers.

We’re looking for results-orientated, multi-tasking individuals with some commercial experience, a common sense approach and the desire to deliver great service. You’ll be:

• able to demonstrate negotiating and presenting skills
