F1 Competition Winners experience fantastic British Grand Prix

Sunday the 10th July saw our F1 competition winners attending the British Grand Prix.  With seats in the amazingly located Silverstone Six (named after the fact you can see six corners from the stand) and 130,000 fans present, the noise and atmosphere were amazing and it was a day for all to remember.  A big note of thanks to Dextra and MK who sponsored the competition with us and to all of you who took the time to enter.  To see a couple of pictures from the day click here.

Senate Electrical launches NEW monthly Buyer's Guide

Senate Electrical has launched a new Buyer's Guide - our largest yet - designed to provide customers with details of our extensive product ranges and pricing.

The newly designed Buyer's Guide features a fresh modern design, clear product images and a brief key product description.  Using colour coding to clearly identify the different sections, which include wiring, cable, safety & security, lighting, ventilation, heating and Solar PV to name but a few, the new Buyer's Guide is exceptionally easy to use, whether in the office or out on site.

Producing a monthly catalogue such as the new Buyer's Guide represents a major financial outlay.  Mark Ludwig, Managing Director of Senate Electrical says, "We see customer service as our number one priority.  We listen to what our customers want and they tell us they prefer a regular printed catalogue with market competitive prices, as it is convenient and an easily accessible source of information."

Easter Egg-stravaganza

Senate Electrical's Supplier of the Year Awards 2010

Our Supplier of the Year Awards (for 2010) were held on the 9th February at the Royal Chase Hotel in Enfield.  Brian Moore, former England Rugby player, gave the after dinner speech and presented the awards.  For a full list of winners please click here.

Standard VAT rate to increase on 4th January 2011

From the 4th of January 2011 Senate Electrical will have to charge the new VAT rate of 20% on any sales invoice from that date onwards.  Beat the VAT increase and buy what you need this month!

Sarah Beeny's Restoration Nightmare

Last year Senate Electrical's Commercial Director David Gwyer received a phone call from someone he didn't expect - Sarah Beeny! Electrical wholesale is not known for glamour and television stars, but Ms Beeny had a big project and needed some help. Rise Hall in Yorkshire, not too far from Hull, was being renovated and we were asked if we could use our expertise to assist.  Mr Gwyer jumped at the chance and with the generosity of our suppliers PX, MK, Hager, Robus and the team at Senate Electrical in Hull, we were able to do our bit for the restoration of Rise Hall.

Senate Electrical's Big Tee Off...

To coincide with the first day of the Ryder Cup, Senate Electrical held an event at branches Nationwide to celebrate.  Customers were able to practice their putting whilst taking advantage of a whole host of offers.  The event at our Newport branch was opened by the Mayor of Newport, where the team were raising money for the charity Ty Hafan.  To see some pictures from the day please click here.
